Working in a range of media, Brighton-based artist Rebecca Yates creates erotic art through the study of the human form in its most intimate moments.

By exploring physical experiences and analysing the many and complex relationships we have with the body, beauty and sexual appeal, the artist seeks to reinterpret human sexuality as necessary and consuming. The compositions attempt to consider all aspects of human sexuality — to see and be seen; to admire and to crave; to touch and to take.

An energetic use of colour and spontaneous approach to form captures the immediacy of the human body, resulting in vibrant, provocative and sometimes challenging compositions.

Rebecca is available for portraits and commissions, and specialises in creating portraiture based on the client’s personal experiences.
